BUT WHO WE ARE

Fran

I am passionate about life, I like learning new things, and I love developing my creativity—whether with a camera doing photography or video, with music trying to become a DJ, or with ceramics making a lamp. I love expressing myself through the different mediums I discover, and I love learning new things, regardless of whether I am good or bad at them. That is the least important part.

I love analog media and imperfection; I enjoy the process more than the result. I've had a personal journey of trying different things that never quite fit or developed the part of myself I enjoy the most.

I studied veterinary medicine and practiced briefly as a vet, but that wasn't for me. At the same time, I picked up my hobby, photography, and started shooting weddings. That's where I began to find something I liked. I started making videos, and I was on the right track. I like stories. I liked life.

I wanted something more. I wanted to share a way of seeing the world; I wanted to meet more people who saw it the way I do. While I was building the perfect wedding website/tool, the idea came to me to create my own virtual space, away from Instagram or social networks—something more personal and truly mine. A diary for our children. A community of people like us. That became my new goal: connecting with people who share the same curiosities and a true desire to live.

I am methodical and organized. I bring calm where Fran brings chaos. I like minimalism; I don't believe consumerism leads to happiness. For me, I just want a simple life—having the sea nearby, nature, being able to enjoy my family, and just letting life unfold little by little.

I studied management engineering, and after several years working in the corporate world, I felt sad and disheartened. There is no currency in the world that can buy back lost time, and a large part of that time was spent on nothing. Work must, in some way, fill certain voids in our soul. You work for money, but there comes a point where you need something more—a meaning behind the time and effort you dedicate to something.

With the goal of enjoying what I do, we decided to launch this project together, seeking to surround ourselves with people like us who motivate us every day to help others and become better ourselves.
